KL Lake Gardens

Lake Gardens Kuala Lumpur, also called the Tun Abdul Razak Heritage Park, offers hours of fun activities and sightseeing opportunities for just about any visitor, from nature lovers and families with little ones. Also called Tun Abdul Razak Heritage Park, this sprawling 227-acre park is located right in the middle of Kuala Lumpur and is reachable via bus, taxi, and the KTM rail services.
The whole area is relatively flat, with plenty of walking paths and trees providing shade, so visitors can easily explore on foot. Alternatively, there are daily shuttle trams services between 09:00 and 18:00, with tickets priced at RM6 for adults and RM2 for children. Here, we’ve compiled the best things to see and do in Lake Gardens Kuala Lumpur if you have an afternoon to spare and fancy getting away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Perdana Botanical Gardens : Perdana Botanical Gardens, set within Tun Abdul Razak Heritage Park, serves as a refuge for those in need of a break from the city. The air is fresh and crisp here, and if you visit during the mornings, you’ll come across people jogging and ladies practicing tai chi (which you can participate, too!). We would recommend an afternoon picnic to fully enjoy the scenery, or if you want to keep moving a walk around the greens is also another great way to experience the park. If you can’t get enough of the greenery of the lush botanical park, head on down to the Orchid and Hibiscus Gardens to see thousands of species blooming in almost every colour and size. Entrance is free on weekdays, and RM1 on weekends and public holidays.
